All access if any will be by pre arranged by appointment. Along with screening prior to arrival date and time. Any persons arriving outside of these guidelines will be treated as a trespasser and dealt with accordingly.

WELCOME TO OUR FARM
WE ARE HAPPY YOU STOPPED BY
We live on a 51 acre farm located minutes from Markdale Ontario. We are blessed with a beautiful mix of bush and working land, producing our own hay. Our farm is family run with our 5 children. Here at Turtlewood we share our lives with many creatures both inside our home and outside with nature.
We currently breed 3 types of Dairy Goats, Nigerian Dwarfs, Nubians and Lamancha. The Nigerian Dwarf is a miniature breed that makes a wonderful milker, pet or show animal, taking up less space while providing a lot. The Nubian is a large breed with a naturally curious nature providing a fair quantity of milk and some amazing colour patterns. The Lamancha is a large breed known for small ears and excellent milking ability. Our entire herd is tested for CAE yearly and is CL free.
We also breed Cavies ( Guinea Pigs) for show and for pets, in a variety of breeds and colours. Guinea Pigs have the sweetest nature and make wonderful family pets. They are a very social animal that bonds very closely with its owner and cage mates.
Please also understand. That in order to maintain the biosecurity of our animals we do not as a matter of course do farm visits.
This is to protect the animals health and well being and to maintain the living enviorment that they have become accustomed to..
On occasion we may make some arrangement during the favorable seasons. However this would be by invitation only.
We are members in good standing with CLRC, OCC, DRCBA and supporters of 4-h Ontario.
