2018 FARM NEWS

WELL 2018 HAS STARTED FARLEY WELL FOR US.

In May we were notified that our doe  FURTHUR FP CORINA had achieved and been awarded the status of SELECT DOE. This is the first Nigerian Dwarf in Canada to awarded this. She is now known as GCH FURTHUR FP CORINA *M.
BROOKLIN FAIR was a great first showing for our ladies. Turtlewood LLP Under My Spell Grand Champion with Lone Larch FPM Amber Moon as Reserve in the senior does. Sunrise TWP Total Eclipse Grand Champion with Tuetlewood LLP No Plain Jane was Reserve Champion in the Junior Does. We Also Had Best Breeders Herd in the Nigerian Class. For our Nubians Turtlewood WHR Rosemary was Junior Champion. Was so proud of our ladies on their first show of the year.
CENTRAL ONTARIO DAIRY BUCK SHOW was an awesome experience. While the boys do not get out of the barn that often they did enjoy themselves on this 3 show day.

LISTOWELL FAIR we were blessed to be awarded yet another BEST JUNIOR DOE IN SHOW with WONDERLAND PEPPA-MINT. A Doe we acquired as a baby this year. She seems to have started her career on the right hoof.  

Also were awarded the BEST DOE AND DAUGHTER IN SHOW with our Nigerians Lonoe Larch FPM Ambermoon and Turtlewood JK Vitctorianmonn. As well as CHAMPION HERD IN SHOW. Our Nigerians also were awarded Grand and Reserve Champion Juniors with Wonderland Pepa-mint and Hirtz Haven Sapphire. With 145 goats present this was a most amazing achievement by our Nigerian Dwarf girls. So very proud of them.

Our La Manchas and Nubian Juniors also held their own taking NUBIAN JUNIOR CHAMPION Turtlewood WHR Rosemary as well as RESERVE JR CHAMPION La Mancha Touchstone Temptation
PETERBOURGH FAIR was another great day for the ladies. For our Nigerians Turtlewood JK Victorian Moon was again Grand Champion Senior Doe. For our juniors Turtlewood LLP Morticia Grand Champion Junior and Sonrise TWP Total Eclipse was Reserve Champion. For our Nubians Tuetlewood WHR Ribbon was Grand Champion Senior and Junior Reserve Champion was Turtlewood CHT Karamela. In the Lamanchas we were blessed with Junior Champion with Touchstone Temptation and Reserve Champion was our Double*Dutch RMD Luna.
